Abington Park & Recreation Commission
- The Abington Park and Recreation Commission has monthly meetings on the third Thursday of each month.
- All meetings are open to the public and held in the Susan Meier Room in Town Hall at 7:00p.m.
- Anyone who would like to address the Commission needs to be placed on the agenda by calling the Parks and Recreation Department (982-2125) by the Thursday before each meeting.
- The Park and Recreation Commission is made up of five elected members. The purpose of the Commission is set policies and advise the Superintendent on needed parks and recreation programs; oversee the town’s recreation programs and park areas; and plan, acquire and develop recreation facilities, parks and open space areas to meet future needs as the town grows.
